Feeling a bit more comfortable with our surroundings, my roommate and I decided to go on our first trip abroad. Ischia was a nearby island that could only be reached by ferry. Despite rocky waves and intense heat, we eventually made it to Ischia. We were immediately drawn to Castello Aragonese and spent hours exploring the castle and its gardens. The view from the top of the castle was incredible, displaying the entire island and surrounding water.
