It was a warm and sunny day in Athens when I had climbed around 100 or so stairs just to reach the top of the Acropolis, out of breath and exhausted. Once I had made it to the top, the scene before me was breathtaking: the Parthenon lit from behind by the sunlight, a scene I never thought I would see with my own eyes. The sheer size and beauty of the former temple told me that I was where I was supposed to be in that moment.
