Kiyomizu-dera Temple

Standing before Kiyomizu-dera, meaning “pure water”, the Buddhist temple can be seen as an example of Japan’s culture and spiritual history. Even on a cloudy day, the temple and its surrounding vegetation are gorgeous, with tourists and school groups milling about.
